Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs collaborates with 412 Food Rescue, the West Hills and Coraopolis food pantries, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, and several local churches to provide access to food for individuals and families.
On Mondays, MNP receives a 412 Food Rescue delivery of bread and bakery items, which are available at the Sr. Rene Procopio Activity Center on Hemlock Drive. On Tuesdays, MNP offers delivery service for clients of the West Hills Food Pantry, who do not have the means to visit the pantry themselves.
On all other days, MNP stays connected to local food distribution organizations to offer additional opportunities as they arise.
