Schedule of Events

1. 6:00 PM: Arrival and Check-in. Guests arrive and are welcomed into the Mardi Gras-themed event space. A cash bar will be available while guests explore raffle prize tables. Cocktail attire is encouraged; masquerade masks optional.
2. 7:00 PM: Welcome and Dinner. Guests are seated for dinner. A welcome address is given by Mooncrest Neighborhood Program's Executive Director, followed by remarks from Mooncrest supporters. Sr. Jeanine Morozowich offers a prayer before our meal.
3. 7:30 PM: 25th Anniversary Retrospective and Impact Stories video presented during dinner.
4. 8:00 PM: Music and Dancing. A live New Orleans style Jazz Band kicks off the celebration, followed by a DJ and dancing until 11 PM. Guests enjoy dancing, socializing, and plenty of time to explore the cookie table to find their favorite treats to take home.
5. 11:00 PM: Event Conclusion. The gala concludes, with thanks and farewells to the guests.

25th Anniversary Fundraising Goal

As we joyfully celebrate 25 years of ministry in the Mooncrest neighborhood, we give thanks to God for the generosity of our donors, volunteers, sponsors, staff, and advocates in the community. We have set a goal to raise $50,000 from individual donors this year in honor of our milestone anniversary—$25,000 to honor the past and $25,000 to build for the future. All proceeds from tonight's event will be put towards the $50,000 goal for 2027. Join us as we continue to build this ministry, founded in love by the Felician Sisters and carried forward by a committed community of individuals, families, sponsors, staff and volunteers.

About Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs

When Mooncrest community members reached out for assistance to revitalize their community, the Felician Sisters living in Coraopolis responded. Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs was founded in 2002 by Sr. Rene Procopio as Mooncrest Children's Program, an after-school tutoring program for just 6 children in borrowed space. Since then, Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs has expanded to support the entire Mooncrest community and offers a variety of services for children, adults, and families.

Though Sr. Rene has passed on, Felician Sisters still live and work in Mooncrest. Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs is now supported by Hopebound Ministries, Inc., a sponsored ministry of the Felician Sisters that provides support, resources, and governance to select Felician ministries. With the help of our donors and volunteers, MNP is proud to continue supporting the Mooncrest community and will carry on in the Felician spirit: to serve where needed.
